Direct Line Personal loan

Formed in 1985 and then selling just one product – car insurance via the telephone - Direct Line has quickly grown into an international concern, with a presence in Italy, Germany and Spain.

It was also the first insurance company in the UK to have the telephone as its main channel of contact and communication.

Direct Line’s distinctive red telephone first came under the public’s eye in 1990. It is used in Direct Line’s advertising campaigns on the television, radio, press and the internet and is easily distinguishable from other insurance companies.

From its humble beginnings, Direct Line now has over 9,000 employees, and offers many products. Its product range includes: car insurance, critical illness cover, breakdown cover mortgages, loans, home insurance, savings, ISA’s, travel insurance, pet insurance, life insurance and home response insurance.

A Direct Line loan is available from £2,000 up to £25,000 for a period of two to seven years. Applications can be made online or via the ‘phone. A decision will usually be reached within ten working hours so that you do not have to wait anxiously to see if you have been approved.

Also, with a Direct Line loan there is no arrangement fee, so you can keep your costs low.
