After how many years of not being insured will I lose my no claims bonus?
If you have been without insurance for three years, you will lose your no claims bonus.
If I have an accident, how much no claims bonus should I lose?
If it is not your fault, then none of your no-claims bonus will be taken. However, if the accident was your fault, then you will lose two years no claim bonus. You should note that you can pay an additional premium for a protected no-claims bonus.
